Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines

24 January 2022

The Chadstone Bowls Club follows the advice provided by state government, local government and Bowls Victoria. We've included links to the advice that informed this content at the bottom of this page.

Note that COVID guidelines will continue to apply while we are based at Murrumbeena Park Bowls Club.

When you arrive at the Bowls Club, please obey the following guidelines:

  • Please scan the QR code upon arrival. These are posted up around the bowls club. Please scan the QR code using your smartphone. This will open the Victorian Government mandated app. In the event that you cannot use your phone, MPBC have a COVID register you can fill out.

  • Practice can resume. See guidelines with regards to practice below.

  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and departure. While the club will provide hand wash at the club house entrance and in the toilets, we would ask that you also bring your own in case we run out at any given time.

  • Masks must be carried at all time, and are required while inside the club room. Masks are to be worn inside the club room, though they can be removed while your are eating or drinking.

  • Players should maintain social distancing guidelines, including staying at least 1.5m apart where possible, and refrain from hand shakes, high fives or any other contact.

  • Club house facilities are open. Note that club house is only available to members who are fully vaccinated. Current density limits of 1 person per 2 sqm applies. Please check signs at the club house.

Murrumbeena Park Bowls Club and Chadstone Bowls Club require all members and players to be fully vaccinated. No exemptions are available.
