Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines
17 June 2021 update
The Chadstone Bowls Club follows the advice provided by state government, local government and Bowls Victoria. We've included links to the advice that informed this content at the bottom of this page.
When you arrive at the Bowls Club, please obey the following guidelines:
Please scan the QR code upon arrival. These are posted up around the bowls club. Please scan the QR code using your smartphone. This will open the Victorian Government mandated app. In the event that you cannot use your phone, we have a laptop just inside the club near the bar that you can enter your details onto.
Competition can resume. No spectators allowed (excludes teachers, instructors, trainers, coaches, umpires, parents and guardians).
Please wash your hands upon arrival and departure. While the club will provide hand wash at the club house entrance and in the toilets, we would ask that you also bring your own in case we run out at any given time.
Masks are not required for playing or spectating. Masks are recommended where people cannot maintain social distancing.
Players should maintain social distancing guidelines, including staying at least 1.5m apart where possible, and refrain from hand shakes, high fives or any other contact.
The clubhouse and bar will be open during normal hours, subject to current restrictions. For Chadstone Bowls Club, this means a maximum of 10 people per group, and up to 40 people inside based on 1 person per 4 square meters inside.
