Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines
1 October 2021
The Chadstone Bowls Club follows the advice provided by state government, local government and Bowls Victoria. We've included links to the advice that informed this content at the bottom of this page.
When you arrive at the Bowls Club, please obey the following guidelines:
Please scan the QR code upon arrival. These are posted up around the bowls club. Please scan the QR code using your smartphone. This will open the Victorian Government mandated app. In the event that you cannot use your phone, we have a laptop just inside the club near the bar that you can enter your details onto.
Practice can resume. See guidelines with regards to practice below.
Please wash your hands upon arrival and departure. While the club will provide hand wash at the club house entrance and in the toilets, we would ask that you also bring your own in case we run out at any given time.
Masks are required for playing. Masks should only be removed where necessary e.g. communicating with another member, shortness of breath, etc.
Players should maintain social distancing guidelines, including staying at least 1.5m apart where possible, and refrain from hand shakes, high fives or any other contact.
The clubhouse, bar & toilets remain closed. The nearest public toilets are located near the playground on Quentin Road.
Guidelines for practice are as follows:
For fully vaccinated persons: Outdoor practice for up to 5 people, plus coach (max 2 households per group) allowed per rink.
For non-fully vaccinated persons (including partially or not at all vaccinated): Outdoor practice for up to 2 people plus coach (max 2 households per group) allowed per rink.
Every 2nd rink to be used i.e. do not use adjoining rinks.
Please only touch & use your own bowls.
Spot the jack and nominate one person to handle the mat.
